There is nowhere quite like York Racecourse. Steeped in history, drama, triumph and achievement, as a world-class sporting venue, it is simply unique.
And it’s not just racing that York Racecourse plays host to. From conferences to Christmas and more, we stage a busy calendar of year-round non-racing events. We are also proud to be invested our home city in a variety of ways, whether it is in the people that we employ, or the suppliers who play an important part in our productions, or in supporting local community groups and charity programmes.
We are Proud. We are Proper. We are York Racecourse.
No matter what the event, we never lose sight of what is important and the experience we want to give to our guests. We seek enthusiastic individuals who can provide outstanding levels of customer service across various roles to represent our brand.
We take great pride in of our role in being a responsible and helpful neighbour.
Each year the York Racecourse team venture away from their usual day jobs to help their local community by taking part in the Give and Gain initiative. We work closely with three chosen community charities and community groups, Clifton Green Primary School, Brainkind and Blueberry Academy.
The biggest charity meeting in Britain, our Macmillan Charity Raceday held in June, has so far raised over £10 million for good causes, benefiting Macmillan Cancer Support and many local cancer related charities, and our equine ambassador, former sprint champion Remy (Goldream), continues to delight, visiting a number of worthy causes within York including both St Leonard’s and St Gemma’s Hospices.
